BUMTICKERS Bum Tickers takes place in Greenwich Village in 1958. It centers on the lives of two step- brothers and boxers, Stormy Weathers, an ex-con just out of prison, and Phil Golly, Heavyweight Champion married to coked up jazz singer, Carmen St. James who yearns to leave her wild life and bring her son home and." To get back where I belong." In a sub plot, aging gangster Jimmy Siena, fresh out of prison, who wants to leave a legacy as a painter and fix his broken life with Sara Owens who burns to live in Paris to fulfill her destiny as a great artist. Bum Tickers is about cracked up promises and winning redemption. About second chances and overcoming obstacles and growing stronger in the struggle.
