THE LAST PIG

Through this personal journey, THE LAST PIG raises crucial questions about equality, the value of compassion and the sanctity of life. Comis’ soul-bearing narrative carries us through his final year of farming pigs, the struggle to reinvent his life, and the ghosts that will haunt him forever.

It is our hope that THE LAST PIG will help propel a shift in our society’s relationship to non-human beings and our capacity for compassion.

THE LAST PIG is a documentary feature completed in February 2017. The film is currently screening at festivals and independent theaters and will be made available for community screenings starting in July 2017. Distribution of the film to schools, universities, and libraries will be managed by Green Planet Films. The film will be offered for broadcast prior to DVD and VOD release. Fundraising is ongoing, and all support will help finance our extensive outreach efforts.

When you arrive, please either have a printout of your tickets ready OR use your smartphone to show the Box Office staff this email for verification of admission. If you do not have access to a printer or a smartphone, you may give your name to the Box Office staff, and s/he will check you in.
