Mary Mack & Tim Harmston: Stand Up Comedy Duo

Tim Harmston and Mary Mack are each comedy headliners on their own merits. Two national comedy headliners--who happen to be married to one another--hash it out playfully on stage! This husband and wife powerhouse is teaming up to co-headline an amazing night of comedy bliss!

Nationally touring stand-up comedian, Tim Harmston, started his comedy career in 2002 at the Mall of America, of all places. A year later he won Acme Comedy Company’s 2003 Funniest Person in the Twin Cities contest, going on to open for such stars as Louis C.K., Jim Gaffigan, and Louie Anderson, and is now a respected headliner in his own right. Early in his career, a famous comedian told Tim, “You’re kind of like an idiot, but with smart material.” That winning combination has led to appearances on CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, The Bob and Tom Radio Show, and Wisconsin Public Radio.

A hybrid of Minnesota and Wisconsin (with a severe cheese dependency), comedian Mary Mack is a favorite on radio shows and podcasts around the country including The Bob and Tom Show, Marc Maron's WTF Podcast, and The Grand Ole Opry. Mary played the leading character, Dylan, on Season One of Fox’s cartoon Golan the Insatiable. This year, she plays a lead character in the Hulu cartoon Solar Opposites by the creators of Rick and Morty. She’s appeared in Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival, HBO’s Andy Kaufman Awards, San Francisco’s Sketchfest, and the Dry Bar comedy series. Mack’s television credits include Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, TBS’ Conan, Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force and NBC’s Last Comic Standing and Last Call with Carson Daly. When not touring, Mary spends way too much time and money working on her vintage camper in the woods of Northern Wisconsin.

Michael Shynes & David Gerald Sutton: Acoustic Guitar & Violin

The fact that Michael Shynes is a Midwest born singer-songwriter with a Platinum Record in Poland, in many ways, sums up the unlikelihood of his career perfectly. Being a self taught musician from a small town, he seemed to build a career out of nothing more than pure hustle and soulful songwriting. And he was also a son who had lost his father, quit his day job, and chased an unlikely dream. Even though the music itself may be difficult to define (often oscillating from folk to pop to R&B to country and then back again), the intent behind it is the unifying ingredient. The unmistakable truth that it never strives to be anything less than genuine and authentic.
