Boulder Opera presents Faust, a sweeping tale of love, ambition, and redemption featuring an ensemble orchestra led by Steven Aguiló-Arbúes. Based on Goethe’s legendary story, the opera follows the aging scholar Faust as he makes a dangerous pact with Méphistophélès in exchange for youth and renewed passion. Filled with some of opera’s most beloved music, including the famous “Jewel Song” and powerful choral scenes, this production brings Gounod’s masterpiece to life in an intimate and emotionally charged setting.
