Preview Party + A Taste of Dalton

ARTS FEST: The Creative Arts Guild Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts 2026 kicks off with it's Preview Party on Friday, September 18.

This event celebrates the opening of ARTS FEST weekend with live music, drinks, and delicious bites from local Dalton restaurants. Preview Party guests get the first chance to view and purchase artworks from the indoor juried Gallery Exhibit and the first chance to shop from the outdoor Artist Market booths before ARTS FEST opens to the public for the weekend. It is the perfect time to meet and mingle with artists, volunteers, and patrons. Guests will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece from the indoor juried Gallery Exhibit to be considered for the Patron's Choice Award.

LOCATION: The grounds of the Creative Arts Guild at 520 W. Waugh Street surrounded by the Robert T. Webb Sculpture Garden. 

PARKING + TRANSPORTATION: FREE PARKING is available at the First Baptist Church of Dalton.

A complimentary shuttle will be provided. The shuttle will circle continuously throughout the event from 6:30-9:30pm. There will also be $15 paid parking on site in the grass lot; parking in the paid lot is first come, first serve. 

Please note: The Guild's main parking lot will be utilized for the evening's event. Free handicapped parking will be available in the Guild's upper grass/paid parking lot and will be available first come, first serve. Additionally, the shuttle to and from the First Baptist Church of Dalton will be accessible, therefore overflow handicapped parking will be available at First Baptist.
