The orchestra and guest vocalist Connor Bogart O’Brien performs selections from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Duke Ellington's Nutcracker, Holiday Hoedown, Clarinet Candy, and more. The Michael Shirtz Quartet along with vocalist Sadiyah Babatunde, narrator William Barrett, and conductor Van Parker perform the dramatic musical narrative about the life of the late Lt. Col. Harold Brown and a tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen. Based on the 2017 biographical memoir, Keep Your Airspeed Up: The Story of a Tuskegee Airman, this musical dramatization, written by Michael Shirtz, presents the story using the elements of jazz, narration with soloists, and an accompaniment by strings and a chorus of singers. | Buy Tickets | |

The FSO Chorale and chamber orchestra are joined by Kirsten C. Kunkle, soprano and the Heidelberg University Concert Choir to perform Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living. The five movements form a narrative just as much for the living, and their own struggle with pain and sorrow, as for the dead. This relatively new major choral work features themes of rest and mercy, turmoil, deliverance, peace, and imagery inspired by the view of our planet from the Hubble Telescope. | Buy Tickets | |
