MATILDA is the story of an extraordinary little girl with extraordinary powers. The daughter of ignorant parents, Matilda finds refuge in library books, which she reads quickly and begins creating her own stories. Things are no better at school, where Matilda also must face a tyrannical and cruel headmistress Miss Trunchbull. Matilda finds companionship in her teacher, Miss Honey, as well as her fellow classmates. Brave little Matilda knows she has to stand up against the adults in her world, and in doing so, discovers her own remarkable powers.

Matilda’s bravery teaches Miss Honey and her classmates an important lesson -- that even though life can be hard, “nobody but me is gonna change my story” so “sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty.” We cannot wait to bring Matilda’s
journey to life and we hope you will join us.

Each year they laugh, eat, drink, catch up, reminisce, and cement their continuing bond. This year - year 39 - Danny tells her friends she wants to share the photos of her dear friends (which even they have never seen) with the world, in a retrospective of her works at MOMA in NYC. Come enjoy this heart-warming, funny and bittersweet day with these our women exploring friendship and its complexi- ties, aging, and ... well, life!

This happy-go-lucky view of small-town vice and statewide political side-stepping recounts the good times and the demise of the Chicken Ranch,  known since the 1850s as one of the better  pleasure palaces in all of Texas. Governors, senators, mayors, and even victorious college football teams frequent Miss Mona’s cozy bordello, until a Puritan nemesis watchdog focuses his  television cameras and his righteous indignation on the institution.
