From the early 20 th century come two works written within a year of each other. Dohnanyi’s Piano Quintet #2(1914) and Szymanowski’s Mythes (1915) contain a gorgeous and evocative panoply of musical colors. In addition we present a string quartet by award winning Korean-American composer Texu Kim in which he explores the role of music in spiritual and physical healing.
