The community of Lake Ashton will be presenting Theatre Winter Haven’s THE VETERANS PROJECT: WHEN THE WIND STOPS at the Lake Ashton Clubhouse.

This original piece is powerful, moving and thought provoking. THE VETERANS PROJECT tells the stories of numerous veterans who were interviewed throughout Polk County about their time in service. This is a must see production that will move the hearts of many while telling the true stories of the very brave men and women who have sacrificed to serve our great country!

series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life
un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
