As part of the CARES Act, passed by Congress in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, adjustments to the tax deductibility for charitable giving have been made for 2020.

If you take a Standard Deduction, you may claim up to $300 in charitable giving over that deduction. If you itemize your deductions, the limit on charitable giving has been lifted for 2020.

The unexpected early ending of our 2019-2020 season presents an unprecedented financial challenge for us.

The funds from the Spring Musical and the Sunshine Town Social are what we usually count on to get us through the summer months but due to COVID-19, we were forced to cancel those events.

At present, our hope is to produce some events on a small scale this winter that comply with the state's restrictions but we realize that the pandemic doesn't work towards deadlines and the viability of this plan will continue to be assessed.   We hope that when we are able to gather once again, you will to be able to join us.

We are aware that many families are struggling at this time. With that in mind, we ask you to be as generous as you can be to help us weather this storm and continue to produce theatre and other live events that entertain, engage, and inspire you for years to come.
