A Lollard in the Wind: or Chaucer’s Dilemma is a new play. The 14th century poet Geoffrey Chaucer has three visitors—an old friend, his adult son, and a church official.
To each he narrates and defends some of his stories, at the same time trying to stay out of trouble. These stories are also portrayed by an ensemble of actors. This production will be in a reader’s theatre format.
